Hello , I am Elle, founder and owner of Petit Saucisson & Co Pet Grooming Salon in Ashford Kent.

The name Petit Saucisson and Company was born from the love of my miniature dachshunds (sausage dogs)

Animals have always been at the heart of my life.

Through both the happiest moments and some of life's greatest challenges, they have always given me unconditional love, comfort and purpose.

Their loyalty and companionship inspired me to dedicate my life to caring for them and today I have the privilege of doing exactly that.

For over 20 years, I have worked with cats and dogs and other small animals, building extensive knowledge, practical experience and a deep understanding of animal behaviour.

My philosophy has always been simple : every pet deserves to be treated with kindness, patience and respect.

I know that grooming is about far more than achieving a beautiful finish.

It is about creating a positive experience where every pet feels safe, relaxed and understood.

One of my specialist areas is working with nervous,anxious and fearful cats and dogs.

Many pets arrived feeling unsure or frightened due to previous experiences or simply because grooming is unfamiliar to them.

I never rush an appointment. Instead, I take time to build trust, working at each animal's own pace using calm handling techniques, positive reinforcement and a gentle approach.

Watching a pet growing confidence and begin to enjoy their grooming appointments is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Helping owners who thought their pet could never be groomed comfortably is Something I take great pride in.

My experience extends far beyond grooming, I have many years of practical experience supporting dogs and cats throughout pregnancy, birth and early and end of life care.

This includes canine and feline pregnancy care, whelping and queening support, birthing assistance, neonatal puppy and kitten care and providing reassurance and guidance to owners throughout the entire journey.

My own experience has given me a strong understanding of animal welfare, neonatal care and responsible pet ownership.
