Hello, I’m Elle, the owner and groomer behind Petit Saucisson & Co Pet Spa.

Caring for animals has been a lifelong passion of mine. With more than 20 years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats, I understand that every pet has their own personality, needs and comfort level.

I created my home-based salon in Kennington, Ashford, to provide a calmer and more personal alternative to a busy grooming environment.

Calm, One-to-One Grooming

Every appointment is carried out on a one-to-one basis, with only one pet or family group in the salon at a time.

This allows me to give your pet my full attention, work at their pace and provide breaks whenever needed. There are no cages and no busy salon atmosphere—just patient, gentle care in a secure and welcoming environment.

I have a particular passion for working with:

- Nervous and anxious pets
- Puppies and kittens experiencing grooming for the first time
- Cats and various dog breeds from small lto large
- Older pets requiring additional patience
- Pets with previous difficult grooming experiences

I never rush or force an animal through a groom. Your pet’s welfare, comfort and safety will always come before achieving a particular style.

Qualifications and Experience

I am a fully qualified and insured dog and cat groomer with training and experience that includes:

- SEG Awards Certificate in Canine Care and Welfare
- Professional dog and cat grooming
- Canine first aid
- Puppy socialisation
- Breed-specific grooming and styling
- Hand stripping
- Qualified microchip implantation
- Experience supporting nervous and anxious animals
- More than 20 years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats

I continue to develop my knowledge so I can provide safe, appropriate and compassionate care for every pet visiting the salon.

More Than Just a Groom

Petit Saucisson & Co Pet Spa offers professional grooming for dogs, cats and small animals, alongside services including puppy and kitten introductions, nail clipping, hand stripping, de-shedding, Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning and microchipping.

The salon also provides different drying options, including a quiet drying cabin, a low-noise handheld dryer and a professional blaster. This helps me select the most comfortable and suitable method for each individual pet.

A Salon Created With Pets in Mind

The salon is based at my home in Kennington, Ashford, and benefits from 24-hour CCTV, a secure environment, toys, treats and fresh filtered water.

My aim is simple: to make every pet feel safe, respected and cared for while providing a professional grooming service their owner can trust.
